Activities 2009:
For 2009, the board of NVO2 will focus on 3 main issues: training & development of HRD professionals, networking and membership. Several events are planned, amongst which several 1- and 2-days training programmes, contributions to the three-days event Learning Lane and to the national HRD conference Performa (in close collaboration with Vetron). Networking will be facilitated by supporting several theme-based working groups. Our new website will have several new options for our working groups to share information and work together. Sharing knowledge will be on the agenda of all activities and will be facilitated by our website and by other publications like our contribution to several magazines.

NVO2 has a new director:

After a long and inspiring search NVO2 has found a new director.  Lizet Hoekstra will join NVO2  from April 1st. Lizet will continue the work from Carla Wijers and the board on the training & development of HRD professionals and creating a effective and sustainable NVO2.

Happy New year event

On January 13th we had our Happy New year event, on which our president Han Nichting presented the focus of the board for 2009. Trendwatcher Peter Heshof did a presentation on trends in society and how they influence (clients and employees of) companies. And how this influences the work of HRD professionals in companies. The participants discussed what this means for them, their context, their situation.
